THANK YOU! Hello AGC Swimming & Diving family, I hope and pray all is well with each of you and your families and friends. ... THANK YOU for a terrific AGC Swim & Dive Team Summer of 2020! I am grateful for AGC leadership & management - especially Andrew Panzo (Chair, Sports Committee), John Cunningham (General Manager), Greg D'Alonzo (Director of Club Operations), Ryan Naylor (Pool Manager), and Rebecca Wayne (Communications Manager) - for their support to open the AGC pool, provide AGC Fitness Swimming & Swim Clinics and AGC Diving, and host a Virtual Inter-Club Swim Meet vs. Philadelphia Country Club, in adherence with coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines and restrictions from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for Delaware County. The health, safety, and well-being of our swimmers, divers, coaches, and families are TOP PRIORITY. We were responsible, proactive, and responsive as we led, planned, organized, coordinated, communicated, and managed these offerings. What a strange 2020 swim season!! It seems only appropriate that our swimmers came out to swim with a Tie Dye theme. It was a great night of fast swims and lots of smiles and laughs. And our parents cheered while staying safe with their masks. Thanks to Coach Katie and all the coaches that helped our swimmers all summer. And congratulations to our Senior Swimmers - Lu Mackenzie, Anton Crescente and Tommy Boerger!!!! Go AGC!!!

1 of 3: Hello AGC Families! As a follow up to my message last week, we are very excited for our upcoming virtual meet against Philadelphia Country Club! The "virtual" format means that we will swim all the events at our pool, and PCC will swim at theirs. Then, I will work with their head coach to compare the times from each event and score the meet electronically. The results will not be in "real time" but we will be able to share the results with our families within 48 hours.... Date: Wednesday, July 29th (Rain Date Thursday 7/30) Warm Ups: 5:00 (10&Under), 5:30 (11&Up) Meet Start: 6:00 Theme: Tie Dye (we will be tie dyeing on Monday 7/27 during practice!) I am hopeful for a strong turn out from our swimmers of all ages and their families. While it may not be a "typical" swim meet, my intention is to create a fun, competitive, and SAFE atmosphere for our swimmers. With so much uncertainty going on around us, I hope this meet can provide a sense of normalcy as we conclude our swim programing for this summer.
