Equal Employment Opportunity Commission oral arguments, which provided the landmark decision for the LGBTQ+ rights, Justice Ginsburg said, "they could rely on the stereotype that the woman doesn't fit, they can rely on the stereotype that the man didn't fit, although the cases have said that the object of Title VII was to get at the entire spectrum of sex stereotypes."
