"The opportunity to not only lead a community and an institution of [Barrack's] name and its possibility is rare, but the opportunity to lead a place that you graduated from, and that had a big impact on who you've become in your life, is even rarer, "said Rabbi Marshall Lesack, Barrack's incoming Head of School, Akiba Class of 1997. Read more about Rabbi Lesack's impending arrival in the Jewish Exponent below. The future is bright at Barrack!

We are so proud of our Barrack Middle School students, who were eager to help and take some action in the aftermath of the the riots on Capitol Hill. Students offered notes of thanks or personal prayer for the workers who were cleaning up the mess and to those that fearlessly protected our government leaders. Rep. Madeleine Dean will graciously deliver them directly to the Capitol next week. These small gestures create a big jump start in the effort to repair our world.
