Our lovely neighbor decided to grace us with piles of manure and an old broken down boat. This is in response to our building a pavilion in our back yard at the Club. The boat rests on our property.

I am sorry that I have been out of touch lately! Since our house bunred down a month ago I have been off the air without any means of communication. We just got WiFi today at the Project Need Building and I have a borrowed laptop to get back in action with. It has been a hectic period but we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. One really great thing has happened to my wife and I and that is that we have learned how lucky we are to be from Albion and to have so many wonderful friends. The outpouring of support from our friends and community is unbelievable and we cannot thank everyone enough! THANK ALL OF YOU!!! Dorian and Kathy Monroe

I have been falling behind lately mainly because things are pretty slow at the AASC. The rifle team has been on a successful winning streak with the exception of one handicap match against Amboy. Nate and Larry Pavolko are both shooting very well with averages in the mid 390's. We are not doing as well this year in the Vermont Winter Postal League. It seems that a team full of female olympic hopefuls from California are setting the league on fire and they are managoing to sta...y just ahead of us. We really miss Joe Shrader's shooting abilities. Last Sunday, the 21st, our trap team traveled to Cochranton Sportsmen's Club for the monthly L&V shoot. Cochranton took the first place honors of the day with a team score of 238 and we were only one bird behind them (237) as was Saegertown and Linesville too. A three way tie for 2nd place. Good lookin Red McGuire and Dorian "Blind squirrel" Monroe led the Albion team with a pair of 48's and Linda Donley, Kent Norton, Dave Munro, and Jeff Hausmann followed up with 47's. We all had a good time and are looking forward to next month in Saegertown. Bye for now and keep on shootin! Dorian See more
