Another #ThankfulThursday from an Albright LIFE participant!

WELCOME BACK! Albright LIFE Lancaster was so happy to welcome back some of our participants to the Center yesterday. They did crafts, colored, and enjoyed socializing with each other at a safe distance. We missed them so much!

Albright LIFE staff are getting into the spirit of the fall season by sharing fall prevention information in this week's activity packets for participants! We also send home word searches and puzzles in the activity packets for participants to enjoy.

Our grand total raised as of August 31 is $129,292.20! Congratulations to our top fundraiser golfer, Normandie Ridge resident Bob Kuhn who raised $9,230.20! Thank you to ALL of our sponsors and fundraiser golfers for a great 2020 Golf Challenge! #albrightgolfchallenge

Albright LIFE staff recently enjoyed a Stromboli lunch and as well as a delicious brunch at the LIFE Center, to thank them for their hard work as they continue to provide needed services to participants in their homes. Thanks to our awesome team!

Albright LIFE participants like Ruth, pictured here with staff member Angel prior to the pandemic, receive transportation to medical specialist appointments. Regular transportation is also provided from the participant’s home to the Albright LIFE Center, where participants are seen by our physician or the clinic nurses, based on their needs. Transportation service is an important way we help provide continuity of medical care. This gorgeous 10 foot sunflower is growing outside the LIFE Center in Lancaster and brightening the days of our staff, as they come to work and prepare to go out and serve our participants in their homes. We miss seeing everyone in the LIFE Center but are glad we can continue to provide needed services to keep our participants healthy and happy at home!

Staff at LIFE Lancaster recently enjoyed their annual Employee Appreciation Lunch in the LIFE Center. After lunch, everyone received a backpack as well as comfortable masks branded with the LIFE logo. Medication Technician Pieper Renfrew was also recognized for five years of service to Albright LIFE. Congratulations Pieper!
