Sunday Hilltopper. Last night Dick Miller’s daughter Lori Miller Stillwagon had a post remembering the untimely death of her father on this date in 1984. With her permission, it is included in this Sunday’s e-Hilltopper, which is from the 1967 - 1968 era, and a tribute to Dick from a 1984 Hilltopper written by Jack Kuniczak. Faculty Eternal - Dr. Robert Obojski Word has reached ACAA of the passing of Dr. Obojski. A prolific author, well known among baseball and boxing writers, Dr. Obojski was both a professor and director of public relations at Alliance College, where he met his wife Danuta. He always had a special place in his heart for Alliance. A partial list of some of his books are listed below ... Robert Obojski Age 91, born Oct 19, 2029, passed away Oct 31, 2020 in Roslyn, NY. He was the husband of Danuta (ne Galka), deceased. Dr. Obojski grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Western Reverse University (now Case Western University); he graduated with a BA in History in 1951, an MA in English in 1952 and his Ph.D in 1955 in American Studies. During his distinguished career he taught at Detroit Institute of Technology, Western Kentucky State College, Alliance College in Cambridge Springs, PA, Edinboro University and Delaware State College. Obojski worked as contributing editor for Sports Collectors Digest, Global Stamp News, and Linn's Weekly Stamp News. He was an ongoing contributor to Teddy Bear Review as well as publications from Sterling Publishing. He had lived in Port Washington, NY.
