All Riders Up sends a huge thank you to George's Kitchens, Inc., located in Concordville, PA, for their generous donation of used corian countertops and sinks. We intend to use these to complete two items on our wish list, a wheelchair accessible rest room and an outdoor hand washing station for COVID-19 preventive sanitation. George's Kitchens has been specialising in high quality custom cabinetry for kitchens, baths, bars and build-ins since 1973. Please consider patronizing George's who has been so generous to us.

We honor all members of the military, past and present, in all branches. Thank you for your service and sacrifices. Since we have the love of equines as our common bond, today let's also consider, just for a moment, the role of the underappreciated war horse, the mule. Bred for their strength and resilience, mules have played an important role in military history through the ages. Even today in the Middle East, mules access locations where Humvees can't drive and helicopters can't land. While much has changed in the world, mules are still working to provide essential support to the troops who depend on them.

Cooper is bowing in appreciation to Walmart Giving for the generous grant All Riders Up recently received. Walmart has a long history of commitment to giving back to the communities where they operate. We are delighted to share this great news with you. You have made it a bit easier for All Riders Up to continue its mission of offering equine assisted activities to those with special needs.

We all send wishes for a safe and fun Halloween.

We were fortunate to have another glorious spring day for ARU's first annual Willits Way Pony Parade. Several staff members rode or walked four of our beloved equines through the neighborhood very near the farm. Many families came to the edges of their yards and driveways to get a closer, but socially distant, look at the horses who were festooned with braids and ribbons and wearing their finest. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful neighbors who contributed so generously as we passed by. Of course, such events require a great deal of work and preparation and we are especially grateful to Kirsten Poole, her sisters and parents who all played a role in today's fun and successful event. As always, we also salute the efforts of the other volunteers who helped make the parade such a success. Thank you one and all.

Yesterday's beautiful spring day made it a little less sad to say farewell to one of our participants who will soon be moving to the Midwest. This young man has been with us for quite a while. We had the joy and privilege of watching him mature and become a more secure rider and horse handler. We all wish him the best in his future endeavors. As part of our pandemic appropriate send-off, Elizabeth serenaded the group with an original song she wrote about ARU's horses. We missed physical contact but did our best to let him know how sad we are to say good bye.
