We all knew this would happen, the first snowstorm of the year. I say we all just lean into it, be thankful it's on a weekend and pack ourselves in where it's warm and safe. A great way to do that is to visit Allentown Farmers Market. Get yourself a great roast at Johnny's, some great cheese at Wittman's . Heck, if you insist on eating french toast, why not make it with peach bread from the Amish Village Bake Shop. Of course, some great popcorn from Al's. Let's all have a great and delicious weekend. Christmas order for Al's Pretzels& Snacks is picked up and dropped off. I actually helped bag my Faller's Pretzels out of the oven and had to wait for my Good's chips to be finished. You can't get product that fresh at Walmart or Giant

Another summer seems to be slipping away. As such, the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market will be closing after this weekend for our annual break while the Allentown Fair comes to town. The good news is that this is a great weekend to come to the market. There are tons of great deals. We will be offering our fantastic popcorn 2 large for $5 as well as other deals throughout the weekend. So come by, stock up and wish me a great 18 days off. We are back in business on September 10. Just in time for the kickoff of the NFL Season.

About a month ago a customer called me on a tuesday looking for a box of Uncle Henry Pretzels. I happened to have picked them up that day so I had a box in my truck. Even though the market was closed, I arranged to meet her near the airport and got her the pretzels. Yesterday, those customers were in and she told me that the case was actually for J Geils, who loves those pretzels and her brother in law is in the band. I thought that was pretty cool
