A vision board is just a collage of pretty images unless you take action! So I'm crossing out vision board and calling it an action board this year! It's time to think BIG! People overestimate what they can accomplish in 1 year but they underestimate what they can accomplish in 10! Read that again! When you're writing out your goals for this year, think about your long term goals too. What smaller steps can you include this year that will get you closer to those year 5 and 10 goals? A; As a general rule, if an item is built-in or attached to the home (think bookshelves, window treatments, light fixtures, etc.), it's included in the sale of the home. Kitchen appliances typically fall under this rule unless otherwise specified by the sellers. In my experience, kitchen appliances almost always stay. More commonly, I see the washer & dryer are often times what sellers prefer to keep and take with them to their next home (if any). I peeped your Pinterest... from what I can see, you definitely need _________ Fill in the blank with something you want in your next home! What would I find on your Pinterest board? Something new I'm doing with my home buyers in 2021 is having them invite me to their "Dream Home" Pinterest board. I want to be able to see their vision for the lifestyle they want to live and what features are most important to them. ... Not only would it be fun to see the variety of Pinterest boards from all of the buyers I help throughout the year, it will also be helpful for me to have their vision in mind when looking at homes. For example, if an open concept floor plan is showing up time and again on their Pinterest board but they consider writing an offer on a house that doesn't have that style floor plan, I will be able to redirect them to make sure they're making a decision they'll be happy with long term!
