Dear Ambridge Area School District Community: I am writing this letter as an update to our correspondence on November 2, 2020. We have been in contact with the Pennsylvania Department of Health. They informed us that they will be doing the contact tracing reaching out to all affected staff and students. Those staff and students will be quarantined through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Highland Elementary students and staff, will report when the building reopens ...on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, through the regularly scheduled hybrid model. As a reminder, due to the quarantining of staff members at Highland Elementary, you may see a new link in your child’s TEAMS calendar beginning on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. If your child is one of the students impacted, the new invitation will come from Dr. Burns and will have the term new link in the title. As a follow up to the Ambridge Area Middle School COVID-19 situation. We have been in contact with the Rapid Response Team and are awaiting the Pennsylvania Department of Health to contact us for information regarding contact tracing.
