In Wednesday's story time, Rosie Revere, Engineer used her curiosity to solve her "smelly" problem. These are books about women who are excellent at solving problems. Some became famous and some did not. But they all have an interesting story to tell. Celebrate National Women's Month by reading one of these stories!

This year we had a different fall fundraiser. Our board decided that they wanted to give back to the small businesses in our community to show our support, as each year they support us with ads for our annual Taste of Autumn fundraiser which we obviously could not hold. They purchased gift cards for several local restaurants and establishments. We will continue to look for ways to work together with our community to make us all stronger, together. Thanks to all who our purchased tickets and are helping to contribute to our fund drive. Congratulations to Dana Hallisey who was the big winner of our Bountiful Harvest raffle based on the Thanksgiving 7pm number. #ambridgehasheart

We are pleased to partner with Sewickley Valley YMCA to provide this free pantry for our community. Take what you need! Leave something if you have extra! In addition to the YMCA, thank you to Sewickley Presbyterian Church and Sewickley Valley Community Fund for making this possible. The pantry is located in the back of our library near our bookdrop. Please spread the word to those who may be in need, especially during the colder months. There are toiletries and gloves and some other practical items in addition to food items. It's all free.
