American Families United 07.02.2021

Friends, This is Kali Pliego. Here's a post I'm sharing from my personal page. Feel free to copy/paste to your own networks.. don't forget the link! It's incredibly exciting that President-elect Biden is talking about prioritizing immigration reform! I do not plan to sit around and wait for the plans to be made.. I insist on being at the planning table. The past 4 years, Valentines Day has been all about lobbying for legislation to fix the immigration purgatory my family... is in. COVID is keeping me home this year, but NOT keeping me out of these critically important conversations! Our Lobby Day will be virtual, which has opened the door to HUGE participation, across the country, and from our living rooms . It's a good problem to have, but it means we need your help. Can you spare a donation to this challenge? Thanks in advance. Sending love to all. https://www.americanfamiliesunited.org/100_dollar_challenge See more

Post 1 of 2 The content of this excellent Vox article is still true, even if the context is outdated. #IIRIRA ... The reason why we struggle to legalize our family members despite the common refrain we all constantly hear, but you’re legally married, right? Doesn’t that make him a citizen automatically? No. The system doesn’t work that way. See post 2 of 2 for our suggested action to help! https://www.vox.com//28/11515132/iirira-clinton-immigration
