So,,after walking out of a job I completed in Easton ,I was walking to my vehicle and saw a dad walking towards me with his son,,the boy was running but turned ...around to look at his dad before I could reach him to divert his head hitting this corner he ran into it ( the corner of the sign) and cut his cheek. The father only spoke spanish but we both went to action as his boy had a cut on his face after this and the tears began to run into the wound. Luckily I carry a med kit with me and we patched him up all the while telling him in my best broken spanish that he was being a big boy for allowing us to patch him up. The Boys dad thanked me and we went our ways. I don’t have any kids but for parents out there be mindful of these sharp edges as according to another by-standard their granddaughter had done the same thing a week before he said and acquired a black eye from it. Anyone can get in touch with the town and possibly put a rubber type bumper on these corners of the signs? See more
