Students in 10th grade English read novels of their choice with the intent to foster a love of reading. At the end of each term they complete a project. Here is a sampling of projects including a literary food truck, character playlists, murals, one-pagers, cartoons, "Goodreads" reviews, a dinner script/movie, and a photography essay. Additional projects not pictured included video reviews and digital murals. The Boys School Student of the Month for February was Pehri R, recognized for his hard work and academic excellence in the classroom, willingness to help others, and dedication to improvement on the soccer field. His teachers and classmates call him kind, funny and a role model in the school community. The Girls School Student of the Month for February was Meg M, recognized for her academic inquiry, passionate empathy for others, thoughtful answers and fun attitude in the classroom and on the dance team. She is respectful and compassionate, and has grown as a leader in the Current Issues Club.
