Today at 5 on our Thursday Top 10 Countdown, I'll play back the top 10 rock albums from this day - January 17 - in the year 1980. Right about that time I had just started working at my dream station, WIFI-92 (now WXTU), and was photographed in that cramped control room they had! The studios were in One Bala Plaza, the same location where the MGK, MMR, The Fanatic and BEN-FM studios are today.

And so it began, fifty years ago today..
