Apocalypse the Apocalypse 28.12.2020

Since Friday morning, I have socially isolated myself, and my business is effectively closed to clients. I have indefinitely suspended booking client-attended recording sessions, but still have a few mixing projects I'm working on over the internet. Perhaps this isn't the best business decision (I indefinitely delayed my first $1000 project today), but I feel that it's the best societal one. Why? In the Clearfield area, 20% of the population is over 65. Our nursing homes... have an average score of 40% from Medicare and have many 1-star ratings for health inspections. (One of the reasons my mother is in a home in Hershey) I've heard that we don't have a single ventilator in the Clearfield Hospital. If our local leaders don't act to shut down non-essential businesses and people don't self-isolate, we're situated for a MAJOR disaster when (not IF) coronavirus arrives. The public should be informed to be responsible, collect the supplies they need to socially isolate and do so. Immediately. The lives of thousands of our elders depend on it. Take action quickly. If New York City decided to close all non-essential businesses as of Tuesday morning, there's no reason that Clearfield, and the nation, should not be doing the same. The people running NYC aren't dumb people. The doctors informing their public health decisions are some of the best in the world. The leaders of Clearfield County delay with peril. In the meantime, where is the federal government? Where's FEMA? Where's a federal wage-replacement assistance program!?!? Where's assistance for businesses that need to close in order to help stop the progress of this deadly virus!?!? Crickets. Good luck to everyone. See more

Most of the album was recorded here last year, and the album was produced and mixed by Malachi Delorenzo. We wish GGOOLLDD the best of luck with the release and look forward to catching them on tour soon!

The New Bauhaus, a film about Bauhaus painter/photographer/designer László Moholy-Nagy, has recently premiered and will be showing in January at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Dennis McNany of Museum of Love composed and recorded parts of the score at the studio in April. Congratulations to everyone involved! I'm very excited to see the finished film.

It was 21 years when we started remixing this album, it’s 22 now, but it won’t be for long. We’re also remastering Ethel Meserve’s other singles and demos for a 3x LP set to be released in 2020.
