Good morning! This Saturday and Sunday is the NSCRO Women’s 7’s National Championship! Thank you for considering volunteering to help make this a fantastic eve...nt for the top 16 teams in the country, without your help it would be impossible to host these athletes at the level that they deserve. I am attaching a schedule of matches, and we could use another 2-3 volunteers on Saturday, as well as 4-5 on Sunday- if you know anyone that might be interested. If you are interested, please confirm the hours you are available on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as what positions you would be willing to take on. I will provide lunch and an event shirt, as well as sunscreen (because it looks like we may actually have some great weather!) Positions needed to fill: 1. Touch Judges. You do not need the course- but you should have a working knowledge of the game. 2. Scorekeeper (#4) - run the scoreboard (easy), and keep a paper copy of the game scores (also Easy). This takes a little getting use to, but one or two games in and you are an expert. 3. Ball runner- One of the best places to watch rugby. With sevens, ball runners are critical to maintaining the flow of the game. With 48 games over two days, keeping track of match balls is easy, but also critical! We also have jobs like concession stand, and team services (water and ice on the sideline, running errands around the facility for teams and competition staff) Matt

Rugby is all about long lasting partnerships, friendships and associating yourself with the right RUGBY opportunities. In partnership with Founder's Field in P...ittsburgh, PA - Rugby Athletic has decided to open a pop-up event store at all Founders Field rugby events. You will now be able to grab the same gear that is available at all of our fantastic partner events directly at Founders Field. Thanks to Matt Rosemeyer and his vision for developing value in our partnership. Created in 1995, Pittsburgh Harlequins Center for Athletics and Leadership (Founders Field) was developed to support the Harlequins Men’s and Youth programs. Founders Field is 12 acres of the finest playing fields within 200 miles. Boasting state of the art lighting and irrigation, there are few rivals for pristine playing conditions available to the greater Pittsburgh Athlete. The fields, coupled with the Clubhouse, locker rooms, concessions, and parking; offer the most professional sporting venue in Western Pennsylvania short of Heinz Field. Tag us in a photo or social media post buying your Rugby Athletic swag at Founder's Field and you might get lucky with free goodies and more rugby gear. And special thanks to my BE AWESOME staff for getting this organized, boxed and shipped to PGH. Danelle Larson Thoresen

Looking for volunteers! I am soliciting for The Harlequins big tournament this year, the USA Rugby Club Playoffs (Mens D1/2/3 & Womens D1/2) on May 21& 22. The proceeds from this event should keep the lights on for the summer, and your help is greatly needed. Using the link below, you can see some of the many volunteer areas we need to fill, and can commit to a part of the day, or the entire weekend. Please be generous with your time! www.SignUpGenius.com/go/5080C4EAFAB22A13-club
