Do you have a bachelor's degree and are looking for work? ARIN IU 28 will be hosting training for Guest Teacher (aka - emergency substitutes) beginning March 1, 2021. This training is for anyone with a bachelor's degree without a teaching certificate. Training will be completed aschrounously over a two week period ending March 12th. ARIN IU 28 will be hosting a virtual training for people interested in becoming an emergency substitute teacher. The Guest Teacher program will be held on January 7 and 8, 2021. PBS Offline Learning Project - Does your family live in an area that makes it difficult to get access to high speed internet to access educational content for your child? Families with school-aged students with low or no internet access are eligible to participate in this educational program pilot project using Rasberry Pi's to access digital learning activities. Emergency Substitute Teachers Do you have a bachelor’s degree (non-teaching) and are looking for employment? You might be interested in becoming an emergency substitute teacher. ARIN's Guest Teacher program trains emergency substitute teachers for our local districts. We will be hosting a training on August 31, 2020 at the ARIN Central office from 8:00 3:30. (This face-to-face training may be changed to an online format if necessary.) Registration deadline will be August 21, 2020. All ARIN IU28 locations will be closed effective Monday, March 16, 2020 in accordance with the Governor's announcement.
