Armstrong Center for Community Learning 15.10.2020

We recently received funding from the Grable Foundation to undertake a new series of FREE, environmental education sessions for local youth. The project is called Knee High to Nature and will run from the fall of 2020 through the spring of 2021. We are so excited to have your elementary child join us. In the first session we will be asking What is nature? and figuring out how we can use our senses to explore it. Children will go on a scavenger hunt, learn why the leave...s change color in the fall, make nature themed crafts, and have fun! The session is free but registration is required. Visit https://www.armstrongcenter.org/odc-events/ for information and registration. Class size will be limited to no more than 10 children. All participants, including the instructor, will be required to wear a mask while indoors and will be asked to remain socially distant (at least 6 feet apart) from other students throughout the session.
