Aston Township Police regret to announce the passing of 2nd ward Commissioner Carol Graham. Commissioner Graham was the liaison to the Aston Township Police Committee and was instrumental with Parks and Recreation Committee. Commissioner Graham will be deeply missed. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Aston Police would like to thank Yashas Anapindi, who is a senior at Garnet Valley High School. This young man is the founder and CEO of Rising Makers. Mr. Anapindi contacted us wishing to donate face shields that he invented himself... how cool is that? Thanks again Yashas.
Knowlton Road will be closed for quite some time. PECO is on scene and will need to replace a pole. Residents are advised that power will be disrupted until completed.

Aston Police teamed up with Neumann University’s Knight’s Against Violence and Delaware County WAR for our No Shave November. For the month of November, officers were permitted to go against our uniform policy with a donation that went towards WAR. We would like to thank Candice Linehan for her partnership.
TRAFFIC ALERT Bridgewater Farms: On Wednesday,Dec.2nd HBO will be back filming in the development. There will be street closure along with temporary on-street parking restrictions on Park Lane between S.Bent and E. Chester Dr. from the hours of 9:30-1:30 pm. Aston Police will be on location to assist affected residents getting in and out of this area.
Congratulations to Sergeant Gary Smith on his 25 years (and counting) of dedicated service to the residents of Aston Township. Sgt. Smith graduated the police academy in October of 1987 and started his career with the Morton Borough Police Department in November. In January 1990, he transferred to Septa PD and became a Sergeant in 1993. On October 16th, 1995 Smith was hired as a patrolman with Aston Township and in 2008, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Sgt. Smith is well known throughout the township for his positive outlook and friendliness. Thanks for your service, now get to work tonight!
