Dear Kathleen, If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. ~ African proverb... The Arrowsmith Program bears my name and is the result of my life's work. However, the thousands of students and families Arrowsmith has transformed, and the tens of thousands of people around the world that now understand learning difficulties do not need to be forever exist because of you. It is not my work alone, it is our work, and it is our journey. 2020 has been a time of great upheaval: of extraordinary challenges to families, industries, entire nations. It has tested our ability to solve problems, to plan, to hope and has forever changed our world. 2020 has also shaped and deepened the Arrowsmith community, and has shown me in no uncertain terms, that I am not alone, that this work unites us in a shared vision, and that we have only come this far, because we have done so together. Please accept my deepest gratitude for your dedication and persistence, particularly in this year of truly uncharted territory. Wishing you the teachers, assistants, facilitators, administrators and leaders, indeed all members of this Arrowsmith family, a safe and happy end to 2020. Thank you for taking this journey together.
