This is an opportunity to minister to a family in the area that is support, encouragement and prayer. This is coming through the AWC Youth Group ministry. Augustaville Wesleyan Youth Group January 14 at 9:24 AM ... Hello Everyone! The youth group just wanted to share about a great outreach opportunity that was brought to us! A teen from our youth group told us about a young man who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Even in this very unfamiliar time, we are the body of Christ, therefore we need to be reaching our arms out, moving our feet to go places we wouldn’t normally go, and most importantly showing God’s love in everything we do. That being said we would like to encourage this young man and his family during this difficult time. We will be collecting items to deliver a care package. Some items may include but are not limited to: Protein Bars, Gatorade, Water Bottles, Hand Sanitizer, Mouth Wash, Gum or Hard Candy, Snacks, Home Cooked Casseroles, Soup, Baked Goods, Juice, Crossword Puzzles, Magazines, Inspirational readings etc. If you are unable to collect any of these items but would still like to contribute, we will also be collecting money to purchase gift cards for gas and groceries.
