What if we tried to be brave instead of perfect? I figured I’d have to introduce myself at some point, so here we go! HI, its ya girl Em! A gal with a su...per simple frame of mind. I felt that phrase was most appropriate in describing my style because I’m truly the happiest with the least amount of fuss possible. Just give me a big cozy crewneck, a wood-wick candle, and some pups to cuddle with. Maybe throw in some Mexican food and oldies music too (is early 2000’s considered oldies now? I still love me some Missy) - now we’re vibin! So I kicked this intro off with one of my favorite quotes. That quote has helped me so much during this journey. Photography started as a dream of mine but also a major intimidation. While pushing myself toward my goals, I quickly learned how important it is to give yourself grace and the credit you deserve. I found that once I threw out the use of the word perfect and reminded myself of my why, it could only go uphill from there. So, why photography? There’s something so rewarding and fulfilling to me about capturing raw moments in life. I thrive on the simplicity of just making people feel comfortable in their own skin and showing them the beauty that I see within them. I’m also a sucker for natural light, candid, and unposed photographs. Give me all the realness! Forreal. There ya have it. My first lil introduction. Now, it’s time to shine some light on every beautiful thing you bring to this world. So, in the wise words of Missy - let’s hang and WORK IT.
