On December 7, 1941, America lost 2,403 personnel, including 68 civilians in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. We then entered into World War II and the Greatest Generation embarked "upon a great crusade" for freedom. We are forever in their debt. We must never forget our history, our heroes and the liberty they preserved for us. We owe them our enduring gratitude. One of our favorite little people is turning 10 years old today. Lawson is the son of Juliet, our manager at Major's Select Collision Center. We are sharing this through tears, but just wanted to give an incredibly happy update on one of the special people we have been fortunate enough to know through our work. In 2016 we participated in a program called Recycled Rides, where our team at Major's Select Collision Center repaired and revamped a vehicle which was donated to an incredibly deserving Mother who was working unbelievably hard to overcome difficulty in her personal life to make a better future for herself a...nd her young sons. Last night she reached out to the manager there to let her know how she's been, and the update is amazing. Thank you, to the team at Major's and our other facilities who helped make that project possible, as well as all of our sponsors who worked with us to provide parts and necessary items for the recipient. Select Collision Group has been monitoring the COVID-19 updates from WHO and the CDC, and we are doing our best to follow the recommendations to help slow the spread of the virus. We are doing everything in our power to stay open so we can get and keep your vehicle on the road and keep our staff members safe. Our technicians and staff are all healthy, and we are monitoring any symptoms that they may have and taking appropriate actions. Effective immediately, we will sanitize ...all of the high-touch surfaces contacted between customers and staff relating to their vehicle including but not limited to; keys, steering wheels, interior and exterior door handles, and shift controls. We will use a car seat cover and steering wheel cover on each vehicle which will remain in position throughout the course of repairs and will be removed when the vehicle is staged for delivery. At our facilities, we will forego having customer's fill out check-in sheets and fill them out on your behalf. Our technicians will use disposable gloves while working on the interior and exterior of your vehicle. Our staff will also wash their hands periodically during the day and we have hand sanitizer throughout our locations. We also ask that if you have any concerns about bringing your vehicle for repairs or picking it up that you please call the location you are scheduled with so we can help make the process as convenient as possible and take any measures we are able to take in order to give you peace of mind. Finally, if you are not feeling well, we ask that for your own safety as well as the safety of our employees and their families- you please call us to reschedule your repairs to when you are feeling better. PEARL HARBOR DECEMBER 7, 1941 The morning on December 7th, 1941, Japan attacks the U.S. base in Pearl Harbor. That morning the United States lost 1998 navy personnel, 109 Marines, 233 army personnel and 48 civilians that were killed in that bombing which resulted in 2,402 soldiers that got killed and 1,282 military personnel and civilians wounded.

On this #givingtuesday, Select Collision Group has chosen a charity for each one of our facilities to make a $500 donation to, and we encourage all of our friends and family to reflect today and find ways to #give to those around you. Autobodies by Lucas is making their contribution to Susquehanna Service Dogs, a local organization who raises and trains service dogs to help support individuals in our community with disabilities to live more independent lives.
