It's been a long time since we put together a Throwback Thursday... And this one comes with a little sentimental substance and a story.. I have a pretty big collection of some vintage Lynn Hearn's Texaco memorbila. And one of my favorite things to pull out from time to time are some vintage jackets. But this one hits home as this is one of my name tag jackets, and the last my Grandfather Don wore. I know a lot of our customers never met Don but he was a great man who did alo...t more than pump gas for the business throughout the late 1980s all the way up to 2011.. Whether it was filling in a shift, running miles and miles for parts, picking up us kids from school. Or shuttling a customer to or from their home Don did it with a smile and will always be remembered as a tremendous Father, Grandfather and Employee who was always standing ready to help. Having a guy like Don made 35 years of business possible for my family. He is certainly missed and a huge part of the company and family story. See more
