Today would have been the date of the 36th Spring Concert of the Bach and Handel Chorale of Jim Thorpe. We practiced very hard, until we didn’t. Until COVID-19. Like every other choral group. We miss our friends, we miss singing, we miss rehearsals, we miss performing, we miss our orchestra, and we miss our wonderful audience. We would have been performing Handel’s Dettingen Te Deum in its entirety. Enjoy the final movement of this piece, Oh Lord, in Thee Have I Trusted performed by the Bach and Handel Chorale along with Festival Orchestra under the direction of Randall Perry back in 2005.
