To all our valued patients: Closure week 2 is over and we are still no closer to reopening than when we started. We are continuing to take online courses to get additional training and obtain the needed supplies to reopen as soon as the government allows. We are implementing a lot of changes, so be prepared for additional paperwork and screening procedures to keep everyone safe. As all the new info comes in we are implementing them into our office policies and procedures and ...all of our staff will be retrained before you are scheduled again. Be prepared, this is a whole new world for everyone, but we are being proactive in our abilities to keep everyone safe and healthy. Stay well, wash often,and wear a mask in public places per new guidelines. Your mask is just to be worn in public places and removed and laundered upon arrival at home. If you have N95 or surgical masks, please consider donation. To go shopping, those masks are overkill and there may be a healthcare worker reusing or sterilizing an old mask just to have something to wear. Your charity could save lives. To our valued patients: The first full week of closure has come and gone and we look no closer to reopening than we were with the cases in NJ spiraling up. Here in PA so far we are better, but still not safe. The Dept of Health has eased the restrictions and I can treat emergencies. Please call the office if you are having an issue.We may need to do a teledentistry consult to see if I need to see or not. When you do come, in please bear with us as we work through the new order in how to treat our patients. For everyone's protection our screening procedures will be more stringent.I have been doing a lot of virtual Continuing Education while closed. To all our valued patients: First, I hope you are all well. So far all of us are fine here in the office. To keep you all updated, we are still closed for the foreseeable future. Right now we are changing next week's appointments and moving them out a few weeks. The Department of Health in all their "wisdom" has now mandated that I need to follow a strict set protocols to see even emergency patients that no normal office can follow. The Pennsylvania Dental Association is work...ing on getting clarification on these new rules, but for now we need to get inventive in order to provide you with the care you deserve. To all are values patients: It looks like this forced closure will be for a lot longer than any one anticipated. I've heard that the Governor's order extends to May 18th at this point, but we'll keep you all updated. As I have said previously, I am still coming in to see people on an emergency basis and I have already posted what those cases are according to the ADA. I have also enrolled in a teledentistry website called DENTULU. If you need me during this time my Dentist ID ...on the site is DEND000872. Please download the Dentulu ap on either Google or Apple to participate and look me up. I am new to this platform and still working out the kinks, but it is another way that you can contact me during this unusual time. My wife and I will be monitoring the office phones. Please note we are having a technical issue with the phone and cannot change the outgoing message and can't have a technician in to repair it. The system still functions for leaving voicemails or contacting me after hours for an emergency so it will have to do for now until businesses resume normal operations.
