Our club was excited to volunteer for the Halloween Creepy Crawly Cruise-Up at the Baldwin Borough Public Library. A great time was held by all families and volunteers! In addition, while participating in this project, we celebrated "Kiwanis One Day" where Kiwanis club members around the world gathered to work together to better their communities. Today's the day...The Big Read! The Big Read 2020 is an annual, one-day, online event to promote the importance of early childhood literacy. On this day, all p...arents and caregivers are asked to read at least one book to their child. We are asking all participating families to post a picture in the comments with the hashtag #TheBigRead2020, or send your picture to Ms. Dolores at [email protected]. We can't wait to see all of your wonderful pictures! The Big Read is a worldwide campaign developed by the 1,000 Books Foundation, a Nevada-based non-profit public charity, in partnership with other non-profit partners.
