REMINDER: BARTA's Publc Hearing for the Proposed Fare Changes and Route & Schedule Changes is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. It is encouraged to send comments via email or mail & only attend in person as a last resort. BARTA will provide service on Columbus Day, Monday, October 12, 2020.

Rt. 7/Pennside will detour today and tomorrow due to paving project. 1803 Butter Lane will be inaccessible. Detour will be: Outbound on Butter Lane to left on Exeter St. Inbound to regular route. No service to housing complex, formerly known as Stony Creek Townhouses.

Rt. 18/Schuylkill Ave. & Rt. 17/Glenside will detour due to Windsor St. to Schuylkill Ave. being closed. Rt. 18 will use Front St. to Windsor to Weiser to Douglass to Schuylkill Ave. Rt. 17 will use Weiser to Douglass to Schuylkill Ave.

Due to paving on Harvey Ave. Route 7/Pennside will detour outbound until the street is reopened: Carsonia to right on Park to Right on Butter Lane to regular route.

On Friday, Sept.18, 2020, the Cherry Street exit of the BTC will be closed beginning at approx. 6 a.m. The following routes will detour: Routes 1, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 & 20.... The detour will be as follows: Exit on 8th St. to Left on Franklin St. to Left on 9th St. to Left on Penn St. to regular route. Routes 9, 10 & 11 will continue down Penn Street to 4th St. to regular route. ALL Cherry Street bus stops will be closedduring the detour. Customers should wait for their bus at either the BTC, 4th Street or Penn Street (depending on the route).

BARTA will go back to Regular Service on all routes on Monday, October 19, 2020.
