In honor of National Strawberry Month, we want to spotlight our local vendor, Bauman’s, and their handmade Strawberry Butter! John W. Bauman began making ap...ple butter in 1892 in his carriage manufacturing shop. It is said that he used the same recipe that was passed down to his wife, Catharine Wiegner, from her ancestors who immigrated to Pennsylvania from Silesia (modern day Poland and Germany). Through the years, more flavors were added to their fruit butter collectionalways preservative and additive free.
