Who likes FOOD TRUCKS? Benvenuti's Pizza Factory Food Truck will be at the Big Beaver Fire Station on Sunday, August 30th from 2-6 pm. Come on up and gra...b some yummy pizza, calzones, or stromboli and try something new for dinner. We should have a menu sometime next week. BIG BEAVER BOROUGH COVID-19 UPDATE Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Due to the concerns associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19), and the increasing likelihood of t...he effects of the virus being felt in the area, Big Beaver Borough will be closing its Borough Building to the public until further notice. The April 7, 2020 Council Workshop meeting has been canceled. Spring Clean-Up that is scheduled for May 9-15th has not been canceled yet. We will be monitoring the situation and working with Davis Refuse once we see if the stay at home orders get lifted after April 30, 2020. Tax Office Tax payments should be mailed to the Tax Collector at the municipal building, 114 Forest Dr., Darlington, PA 16115. The deadline for the discount period is still May 31, 2020. If you have any questions or concerns please call the office at (724) 827-2416. Park The Disc Golf Course/walking trail will remain open but the playground and pavilions are closed until further notice. Fire The Big Beaver Borough VFD is closed to events until further notice. Our fire department is still responding to emergency calls. Recreation - The Children's Easter "Eggs" travaganza has been postponed. The new date has yet to be determined. Updates will follow once things begin to get back to normal. Borough Office The office is being staffed Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm. Residents can call with questions at (724) 827-2416 or email [email protected]. The office is closed to the public until further notice. The Big Beaver Borough Council and Members of the Big Beaver VFD ask that all residents follow PA Governor Tom Wolf’s instructions including the Stay at Home order. The Borough is committed to the safety of its residents. These instructions may be updated as more information becomes available.

It is with great saddness that we report to you the passing of Captain Howard Greer. Howard was a dedicated member of the Fire Company for over 60 years serving in various positions. Howard also served the community as the Big Beaver Borough Emergency Management Coordinator and was a US Army veteran. A Firemans memorial service will be held at Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home on Friday at 7pm. In lieu of flowers Howard requested donations be made to the Big Beaver Borough Volunteer Fire Company.

With the temperature still well below zero, and after working all day Volunteer Firefighters worked out in the cold tonight to ensure our equipment and trucks are ready to go.
