Summer raspberries are done, unless you just want a handful as a snack. . . . but blueberries are still going strong. The mid-season berries are very ripe, and the late season berries are starting to ripen. We had a few gallons picked last weekend, and still lots of blues on the bushes. Next few days should be cooler, if you don't mind picking between showers. Because a few serious pickers can get the ripe ones caught up, always best to message or call to get current conditions, but right . . . NOW . . . lots of sweet, ripe berries waiting.

Summer Raspberries are right at the end. Our normally 4 week season is going to be just two and a half due to the late start and the heat. Essentially all the berries that are left are ripe. There are still a lot of berries, but many are so ripe they fall off when you move the bushes. If you want any more, the next few days will be the best chance to get them. We have lots of blueberries. Best to call or message so I can update you as to the status at the moment. The birds are getting them when they ripen, so we have broke out what bird netting we have, and are trying to keep the rows with ripening berries covered. Since we have mid season and late season berries, we will have them until August. Just have to verify what is ready at any given moment. Thanks!!

Yes, we do have blueberries! From now until . . . ???? The heat is really speeding up the red raspberry season. If you want any quantity, you have 3-5 days, tops. Many have them have ripened, and dried up on the canes. Still lots to pick, but almost everything is ripe or nearly so. Next week there will still be berries, but the easy picking is now. Come after 6 PM or early in the AM if you are an early bird.
