We are less than TWO WEEKS away from the Underground Railroad Walking Tour. Registration will be located at the parking lot beside J & J Spratt Funeral Home and... will begin at 8:00 am while the tours will start at 9:00 am. Tour groups are limited to 30-35 people and will go out every 15 minutes. Last tour will depart at 2:00 pm. The distance is approximately 2 miles and will include going up and down a hill so wear comfortable shoes. If you are unable to walk the tour you can drive to each house and listen to the docents talk about the homes. Merrick Art Galley will be open and there will be food items available in their parking lot. Donations will be taken that day and will be used to renovate the Irish-Townsend House.
