Reproductions of 1800's interior house doors. Made two. Only 1" thick with 3/4" thick panel raised on one side.
Some of the work I've been doing.
First picture is of a Dept. of Labor and Industry poster made out of cloth. Act 267, June 2, 1913. Second photo is an old bib nail apron Norman or Joe used.
Spring is almost here! Bring in those torn screens for repair before the rush!
My friends have been asking me to post the photos of the 54 sash i recently made for a historic site in Montgomery Co. So here they are. They had to be only 1" thick, wooden pegged at the mortise and tenon joints and thru mortises. I really had fun with this job. I love making windows. Especially for historic restoration.
Finally got a chance to take some of my projects off the camera. Circle top screen door, duplicate of stair baluster, not your typical shutter (square bevel on edges), 4 light sash, and a mahogany display cabinet for basketball cards.
We've been busy making lots of moldings and producing fluffy shavings. Trash-size bags are on sale for $5.00, regularly $6.00 while supplies last. Great for horses and other pets.

Late 1700's home in Accomac, VA. We reproduced some of the shutters to match the originals and the front door. Unfinished (not painted) shutter pictures are in a previous post. Thank you Mary and Dan Derby for the photos.
Brackets for Heidelberg Church.
Customer needed 3 inches added to antique table.
