For those of you visiting the forest soon, we were there last week and I would like to share the restaurants we visited because they were all amazing! Cousin Ba...sils (which we went to 3 times!) The Forest Nook Bettinas Trails End Bear Claw Cafe Also, if you’re kayaking or canoeing, we enjoyed Cook Forest Canoe Rentals bc they took us up river and it was very quiet and a lot less crowded.

Storm was yikes but it was short, some in marienville lost power but we are good here at the camp, John went thru the camp checking on everyone campers and falling branches . All is well
