2020 In sitting down and thinking reviewing... reflecting on this past year .... I come up short. This year has felt like one long race. One long todo list. One weekend after the other checked off with various occasions and events. To do all the things, be all the places, and make sure everything is just so. Trying to keep everything afloat with changing dates, dynamics, and precautions. Now sitting quiet and trying to process it all - it's the slightest bit overwhelming and just WOW. That feeling of "How in the world did I make it through??" couldn't be more fitting, and yet grace. Always. So. Much. Grace. Just a short little highlight reel on this end.... First and foremost, this little biz outright blossomed this year! I have had thee absolute pleasure of working with so many of you to fashion various cakes and cupcakes!! It's such a delight and I am looking forward to 2021 in creating even more for you! Covid certainly made things interesting this year with keeping in contact and seeing family and friends (or lack therof). Every summer, we especially love spending time at the river with family. This year with my cousin's first little one, Miss Finley, -ooooo my Lord,- it just made it that much sweeter! We absolutely adore Fin and she just keeps growing and growing!! Still can't believe she already turned 1 back in October! WE MOVED!! Over 5 months later and we >honest to God< still pinch ourselves that we get to call this place home. A little out of the way now, I know, but it's been one of thee greatest blessings of this year. The sunrises and sets - they've got to be one of my favorite things! Top 5 for sure! There were blessings all along - just sometimes harder to see in the day-to-day particularly this year. 2021 - I cannot wait to see what you bring! Happy New Year everyone!!
