BeeGraphix is proud to announce that our very own Vice President, Davis Slagle, has been chosen as a 2020 Inductee for the California University of Pennsylvania's 40 under 40! Read the article below! Davis Slagle, a 2010 graduate of California University, earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at California University. During his time at Cal U, Davis also was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity and Student Marketing Association. Leadership skills and community interest gain...ed while being a member of the Theta Xi Fraternity helped drive Davis’s personal passion and adapt them to his local, family owned business, BeeGraphix. Davis’s passion has continued to grow, and has since become a motivating factor with all of his business planning as the Vice President of BeeGraphix. Davis created and developed an online apparel fundraising program that’s has currently raised over $250,000 for local teams, groups, and charities. As his passion for others and community arose, Davis heard of a need from his high school Alma Matter. He modeled a unique way for a walk and coordinated a 0.5k Walk. This walk, that left no one behind, has raised nearly $10, 000 to help renovate the football stadium at his alma mater, Beth Center School District. Even as the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic arose, Davis felt inclined more than ever, to create a way to support and help his local community. The Small Towns, Big Hearts Campaign was launched at a safe distance from his basement, with a single tee shirt offering for local businesses. His heartfelt passion ended up raising over $22,000, in a 10-week period. $13,000 went directly to local small businesses and the remaining profit was given to his staff that had been laid off. As the Small Town, Big Hearts campaign ended, Davis developed a creative approach to support local restaurants. A virtual restaurant tour began, to assist the local restaurants during their shutdown. The virtual tour helped highlight restaurants asked viewers to support that restaurant with great success. Davis currently resides in Brownsville with his wife Chelsea (Cal U 09), his dog Jethro, and cat Tony. Davis is a proud supporter of Cal U to this day! Most recently, his company BeeGraphix, helped coordinate, produce, and distribute Cal U’s Virtual Homecoming in a Box that sold out!
