The Beehive will be reopening! Yay! York has gotten the green light for next weekend so I will be in touch with everyone that I had to cancel. Then I will be... in touch with everyone who has contacted me to be on the scheduling list. Please have patience with me as I get back to everyone. I will do my best to get everyone in a quickly as possible. It’s still unclear to me exactly what safety guidelines I legally have to follow at this point. I will just ask that everyone wears a mask and comes to their appointment exactly on time. Please don’t come in early. I will try to only have one person in the salon at a time and I will need extra time to sanitize properly between clients. Thank you to all of my clients for reaching out to me. It means the world to know you are thinking of me and my family in these strange times. I miss you all ...so much! I know some businesses are reopening soon against the governor’s orders. The Beehive will not be among them. I’m sorry if this disheartens some of you. To me the most important thing is the health of all of you; my clients, friends, family, and above all, those I love with compromised immune systems. It’s hard to know where to go from here because there isn’t much of a plan for salons in PA to reopen. It seems like the plan changes from day to day. I get it, this is unchartered territory. Dear Clients, Friends, and Family, The Beehive will be closed at least until May 1st, as ordered by the Governor. Unfortunately, hair salons are not considered essential businesses... even though you all help keep me sane and I’d like to think I do the same for you! I will contact all of you before your appointment just to remind you of the cancellation. Then when I am allowed to be open again, I will contact everyone in order of your appointment. First appointments cance...lled get first appointments when I reopen. I will be working overtime to get everyone in as soon as I can. My husband will be working from home indefinitely, so I will be more available during the day along with my regularly scheduled hours. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me and sent well wishes. This is a hard time for me as I’m self employed and not able to receive unemployment yet... just as I know many of you are too. It is also difficult being a full time mom again when I really just back into the swing of working part time and taking clients after maternity leave. I am definitely cherishing this time with my boys but I can’t wait to get back at it. I’ll use this time to do as many online classes as possible and keep honing my craft.
