Flu vaccines arrive tomorrow! We anticipate heavy interest! Please call the office at (717-299-8933) to schedule your child for their annual influenza vaccine. It is recommended annually for all children 6 months to 18 years of age. We are also planning to host a flu clinic on Saturday, October 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This will provide an opportunity to schedule a visit outside of regular school and work hours. Please call the office at 717-299-8933 to schedule your chi...ld's visit. In an effort to move everyone in and out of our office as efficiently as possible, we ask that you please print out the "Flu Visit Form" for each child that will be getting their flu vaccine, complete, and bring with you to the visit. Any adults that wish to get their flu vaccine when they bring their children, the cost will be $35. We ask that you would print out the adult "Flu Visit Form" and then complete and bring to the visit. We are now able to offer the Pfizer COVID Vaccine in our office! If you are interested in this vaccine for your teenager please call the office and we will schedule an appointment.

After nearly 20 years of service at Beittel-Becker Pediatric Associates, we regretfully inform you that Joaquin Garcia will be leaving our practice and heading to Texas. Joaquin will be leaving behind quite a legacy at Beittel-Becker. He made an impact on countless families and patients. Joaquin would like to thank all of you for a wonderful career caring for the families of Lancaster County. Joaquin is looking forward to this next step, and we wish him all the best! His last day will be Wednesday, May 26th.

We are excited to announce the completion of our newly redesigned website! We want to thank Mile6 for help in the redesign. Please visit at www.beittelbecker.com. Our patient portal can now be accessed directly from our website. Statements will now be sent to the portal for anyone who has one. You will receive an email notification that a statement is available to be viewed and you will be able to login into the portal and pay online if you wish to do so.

A few quick updates: Beginning this Monday, June 29, we will be returning to our normal operating hours: 8am-8pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm on Friday, and 8am-11am on Saturday (we will always see patients until noon as needed). We have also begun creating patient portals for parents of children under the age of 18 and plan to launch a newly redesigned website tomorrow. We will post another update when that is ready to go. You will be able to link to the patient portal directly ...from our website! We will begin sending statements directly to the portal for those who have portal access. It will now be possible to pay bills directly on the portal. Our plan is to eventually make online payment available directly on our website. We also now have the ability to put credit cards on-file. We have not made this a requirement at this time, but please understand that our plan is to move in that direction. Placing a card on-file will be a requirement for any future short-term payment plans that need to be arranged. We are excited for these changes and look forward to serving all of our patients as we return to normal! Have a happy summer!

ATTENTION: We have begun rolling out our patient portal! Our portal will allow all of our patients and their responsible party to view upcoming appointments, update demographics, communicate with our office by sending/receiving messages, receive statements and make payments by credit card directly on the portal, respond to medical history questionnaires and medical forms, request rx refills, view lab results and other limited medical data. For anyone who has a patient portal,... we will now be sending statements directly to the portal. An email notification should be sent to notify you that a bill is available and ready to be paid. We believe this will make the process much easier for both us and our patients. We also advise anyone who opens a patient portal to bookmark the website for the time being. We are in the process of redesigning our website, so we don't currently have a link to the portal easily available. We also will be implementing a credit card on-file system in the coming weeks. We believe all of these changes will be great steps forward and will provide a better experience for all of our patients. We appreciate all of you and are excited to be returning to normal! See more

UPDATE: Beginning next Monday, June 8, we will be begin being open from 8:00am to 5:00pm! We continue trending in the right direction! Also, annual physical season is well underway and our openings are filling up quickly! We are excited to announce that we will be open from 8am-3pm, beginning Tuesday, May 26! The demand for annual physicals has been so great that we needed to add afternoon hours! We will continue adjusting our office hours as needed, until we are back to our normal office hours. We will announce the updates as we go.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Beittel-Becker has used the past several weeks to thoroughly review our practice and identify ways to improve moving forward. We take immense pride being one of only a few private practices remaining in the area. To remain a private practice in an increasingly competitive healthcare market, we need to continue serving our patients with excellence while modernizing the practice and adopting practices that help our business function at its best. In the coming ...weeks, we will be introducing a newly redesigned website, a patient portal, and a new payment system. The portal will allow a useful place for patients to access their medical information, request Rx refills, send messages, view and pay their balances, and more. The payment system will allow credit cards to remain securely on-file and payments to be made online or through the patient portal. A patient portal and credit card on-file system have been a popular request made by many of our patients. We believe it will be very useful to both our patients and our practice. More details will follow as we roll these out. These additions will not only improve the patient experience but allow our private practice to remain viable.
