Bell Acres Police Department

*ROAD CLOSURE ALERT* Although this road closure is in Economy Borough, it will affect Bell Acres residents. From approximately 10-14-2021 to approximately 10-28-2021 PennDOT will be closing Big Sewickley Creek Road in the area of Maude Davis Lane to fix slide damage. The road will be closed to all traffic except local traffic between Turkeyfoot Road and Shaffer Road. Please make note of the forthcoming detour signage and plan your route accordingly.

Update: We have located the dogs owner and the dog has been returned home. We received a call about a dog found on Big Sewickley Creek Road. If anyone knows who this female dog belongs to please contact the Bell Acres Police at 412-741-3010

On 9-25-2021 the Bell Acres police department received a report of vandalism to a display of Halloween decorations on Gaydos Lane, off of Big Sewickley Creek Road. The incident happened during the overnight hours of 9-24-2021 into 9-25-2021. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bell Acres Police Department at 412-741-3010.

On 9-25-2021 a set of keys were located on Campmeeting Road and turned into the police department. If you are the owner of the keys, please contact 412-741-3010 or stop by the station to retrieve your keys.

Hitzel Hill Road is reopen to all traffic.
