Welcome to the Lower School Halloween Parade!

Today was our first House Morning of the new school year. Each House Community traveled through 3 stations: the Power of One discussion along with signing this year's anti-bullying banner, the Read for the Record and Brick Building activity, and a friendly House Cup competition on the low ropes course and green top followed by the Chant. Students and staff enjoyed a morning of fun and connections thanks to the Child and Family Support Services Team.

On Sunday, October 24, Benchmark students, staff, parents and Head of School participated in Mark Dombroski's Memorial 5k to raise money to build a playground in honor of Kevin Dombroski's (Alum '07) younger brother, Mark. Staff and students practiced for weeks leading up to this event after school and all their hard work paid off as each one crossed over the finish line for a great cause. We can't wait to visit "Mark's Park" when it is completed.

It’s a comfortable way to help students re-acclimate to a classroom setting. Learning relies heavily on interaction between students and teachers, and that interaction has sadly been sporadic and inconsistent for many students this year."
