From Bensalem Councilman Jesse Sloane What an amazing thing to see! Bucks County's COVID vaccination site at Neshaminy Mall is OPEN!! Bensalem Councilman Ed Tokmajian and I were on site for the opening today, and greeted people who were there both to receive their vaccinations and to help people who were trying to register.... One specific thing we are seeing here in the county is many elderly couples who are only using one email to register both people. The result in that only one person ends up registered. THIS CAN BE EASILY RECTIFIED!! Please go onto Bucks County's Vaccine Information page and make a change, and you WILL NOT lose your place in line. Special thanks to Commissioner Bob Harvie for helping to fix some of these issues and to get this information out to the public. As always, if you have any problems, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or Councilman Tokmajian and we will certainly do everything we can to assist. Stay safe, wear a mask, and please get vaccinated.

Thank you Friends of Poquessing Watershed of Philadelphia and Bucks County for organizing today's creek cleanup down at the southern tip of Andalusia. The turnout was great and it's a much prettier space than it was this morning.

Stop Judicial Gerrymandering in PA! The PA House will be voting on a bill in the next few days which will change the way Judges are elected in PA, which opens the door to unfair gerrymandering. Contact Representative KC Tomlinson to let her know, as a constituent, you want her to vote NO on this Amendment (HB38).... Theresa, Cathy, Melanie and myself wanted to say thank you to all of those that helped to see us through a very tumultuous election. We had so many people out at 13 different polling locations (25 polls) encouraging voters to vote Democrat, answering voter questions, and working in the middle of a pandemic, understanding this election was so important - for the health of this country. We also had people working inside the polls, helping to deliver lunch, serving as voter pr...otection, providing legal representation, managing lines, trying to make people feel comfortable waiting in lines that spanned up to 2 hours and so much more. All of this help came from BDO members, friends and family, assistance from others around the county, union support, neighbors, new BDO members and many others that simply just wanted to be part of the Democratic Party. We actually had a former BDO member fly in from Cairo, Egypt to help. We were clearly present yesterday. Bensalem saw us. And we were there helping all voters recognizing every vote should count. Fortunately, there were fewer issues than we anticipated. And as I visited different polls, I was so proud seeing so many people working and fighting for all of our Democratic candidates. Sorry for the long post. But as I sit here in anticipation as I know all of you are, I wanted to simply say thank you for everyone’s work. I am really proud to be part of the BDO.

Have you made a plan to VOTE on Election Day on Tuesday, November 3rd, between 7 AM and 8 PM? If not, explore these options and make sure your vote counts! 1....) IN-PERSON BALLOT: If you didn't request a mail-in ballot, go to your local polling place to vote. Find your local polling place at buckscounty.org/2020election, under the Polling Locations section. 2.) COUNTY DROP BOXES: For mail-in ballot voters, it's critically important to seal your completed ballot inside the provided secrecy envelope, then place that inside the return envelope, fill out and sign the declaration (signature, date, printed name, and address) on the outside. Your ballot may NOT be counted if these steps aren't followed. You then drop off your mail-in ballot at the Quakertown, Doylestown, or Levittown drop boxes (listed below). At this point, mail-in ballots should NOT be sent back via the postal service. 3.) SURRENDER MAIL-IN BALLOT: If you can't make it to one of the three drop box locations, you may also surrender your mail-in ballot to the poll workers at your polling place on Election Day and vote on the machine instead. 4.) PROVISIONAL BALLOT: If you do not bring your ballot and envelope with you to your local polling place, you will be required to cast a provisional ballot to be approved at a later date by the Board of Elections. 5.) EMERGENCY BALLOT: Residents that cannot physically make it to the polls due to an unforeseen emergency (accident, hospitalization, sickness) can contact the Board of Elections office in Doylestown about obtaining an emergency absentee ballot. Please note: only the Doylestown office will be available on Election Day to process emergency absentee ballots. Drop box locations: The Upper Bucks Government Services Center 261 California Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 The Bucks County Administration Building 55 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 The Lower Bucks Government Services Center 7321 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA 19055 To learn more about the 2020 election process, visit buckscounty.org/2020election.

This video was taken during a Biden/Harris caravan in Bensalem. While passing a shopping center where a Trump rally was being held, the boorish behavior of the Trump supporters featured yelling obscenities, lots of middle fingers and even hitting some cars with their flag poles. Many Trump supporters were menacingly standing in the shoulder of the road, creating a dangerous nuisance as traffic passed by. Several actually got in front of some cars in the caravan, causing cars to stop in the middle of traffic. The good news is that while driving around Bensalem there was a LOT of audible and visual support directed towards us. Good can win! VOTE for BIDEN/HARRIS and the FULL DEMOCRATIC TICKET. Be part of the blue wave that will wash away the hatred and divisiveness in our town and country!

I wanted to share this post about yesterday. While some of us had the opportunity to get into the event, other Biden supporters simply showed up to get a glimpse. In the meantime, R supporters also showed up to show their true colors. This post really shows what the division looks like in this country under their leader. This post shows the way some people feel they can act under this leader. This post shows the rhetoric, the hate, the mean-spirited, and outright rude and ob...noxious behavior that their leader promotes. This country can do better. We need a change. We need Biden and we need to elect Democrats up and down the ticket. Thank you Harley Steiger for sharing your story. Thank you for being a Democrat.
