Yesterday was settlement day on the Mountain House. So happy for this couple on the purchase of their new home.

The Mountain House is nestled among the trees in the most beautiful, peaceful setting. We tried to blend a modern cottage style with this house and it turned out to be one of our favorite projects. We hope the new owners will love this house as much as we do.

Wrapping up a few details on this handsome house. So excited for the new owners that get to call this place home.

The exterior finishes are coming together. It's always a little scary to try something new but I am loving the bold statement this dark house makes.

I have this saying on my letter board at home "Great things never came from comfort zones" . It's true! It's not always fun or easy to be stretched and to try new things but we are determined to keep on growing and learning and this time it meant building our first custom home and we are so glad we did. Olivier and Jennifer... you guys were so great to work with and we learned so much through this process. Teaching them young. Caleb likes to be the "trigger man" for daddy's nail gun. And yes...those are barefeet on the jobsite. We are working hard on this custom house. Painting just got finished and now it's on to the fun stuff!!! Should be wrapping it up in about a month. #Peachblossomproject

It sure is nice to have a roof over our patio with all the rain we've been getting, now if we could only find the time to sit out here more. Ben poured this patio this past Spring and built the roof over it and we kinda really love it.
