Berkey Church of the Brethren 03.02.2021

Reintroduction to Church at Berkey COB: September 20, 2020 Sunday, September 20th, we transitioned from our traditional outdoor 10:00 a.m. service. Services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. will be held indoors, will be socially-distanced and will require masks as mandated by the Governor. To accommodate folks who either cannot or choose not to wear masks, we will also have a very large screen set up in the lower parking lot at the 10 a.m. service where folks will be able to see ...and hear from their cars. For those inside as well as outside, we will have greeters, song-sheet bulletins, and goodies (whether birthday brownies or scripture cards or whatever). The church will be cleaned thoroughly between the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services. Unfortunately, we are not yet to the point of having child care available, though the nursery would be open for changing/nursing. There will be socially-distanced Junior Church during the 10 a.m. worship service only. Our goal is to continue to enable the body of believers here at Berkey to continue to love God corporately-- together--despite the challenging times. It might be prudent to come a couple minutes early on Sunday as we will have folks helping direct traffic and parking for those who will be watching it outside--as well as folks inside directing people to open seating. If you are feeling sick, or your family members are feeling sick, stay at home and watch it online. The vans will run for the 10 a.m. service, but we prefer that parents bring their kids in their own cars. It is much safer. If this is impossible, call Sharon so that she can help arrange a ride. GOD is bigger than this big germ as Parks calls it, and despite what Satan wants to do to keep us apart or disgruntled, God still has great plans. If you have any questions please call, email, or message on Facebook. May God be glorified and may his church be strengthened. Blessings, Pastor Jason
