Money raised from this fundraiser will go to help support Berks County 4-H members participate in local, regional and state 4-H activities and programs! Berks County 4-H is participating in the Pennsylvania 4-H Community Service Project, One Warm Coat. Berks County 4-H will be collecting new and "gently" used coats at the Berks County Extension Office now through January 14th. All coats collected will go to Berks County Residents. Please consider donating to help provide warm coats to those in need. Berks County 4-H Members, today is the last day to register for the PA 4-H Animal Science Camp and get the early bird rate! PA 4-H Animal Science Camp is open to all 4-H members age 13-18. You can register for camp here: http://ow.ly/oVY550DTETO For the camp, there will be two virtual sessions and one hands-on session. One of the locations for the hands-on session on May 22nd will be at the Berks County 4-H Center! SAVE THE DATE! Mark June 26th on your calendar for the bowl, skillathon, and hippology contests. These include avain bowl, canine skillathon, dairy bowl, hippol...ogy, horse bowl, livestock skillathon, and rabbit and cavy bowl and skillathon. The canine skillathon will be offered virtually, the super bowl portion will not be part of the contest this year. The canine skillathon will be a self-paced independent activity (open for participation June 21-26). The other bowl, skillathon, and hippology contests are being planned to be offered as in-person events at University Park Campus. The ability to hold in-person events will be based on state government regulations/guidelines as well as Penn State University guidelines. All plans are subject to modification and/or cancellation. Registration information is forthcoming.

Attention all Berks County 4-H members who are seniors in high school. The deadline to apply for the Jim Haldeman Berks County 4-H Scholarship is quickly approaching. All applications are due into the Berks County 4-H Office by April 1, 2021. The scholarship is for Berks County 4-H members who are graduating high school this year and intend to pursue post-secondary education. The scholarship applications are available from the Berks County 4-H Office.
