Due to impending winter weather, access to the parks is limited. Closed gates mean MAIN PARKING AREAS ARE CLOSED until snow can be removed and areas are safe to return. Please do not park in front of any closed gate or in areas not intended for parking. Anyone using trails in the snow should recreate safely. Enjoy your snow day and we’ll see you in the parks soon!

First weekend of Holiday Lights is in the books! Thanks to everyone who made it out to check out the lights, this weekend’s weather was not the coziest (but maybe seasonable for the occasion)! Much like the Postal Service, we often find ourselves out in all kinds of weather- snow, sleet, rain, and bitter cold. If you find yourself out at Gring’s Mill to look at the lights, be sure to say hello! Waving back ‘hello’ helps us get feeling back in our cold fingers!

We’re thankful for our beautiful park spaces and the ability to serve the public, along with all the personal thankfulness from each and every one of our rangers. What are you thankful for today?
