It's that time again to submit your nominations for the Berks County Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (BCRRHOF)! Wait, what IS the BCRRHOF? BCRRHOF is an exhibit and ...storytelling project at the Berks History Center that seeks to commemorate Berks County’s contemporary music history. Each year the BCRRHOF Committee adds new members to the BCRRHOF through community input and a voting process. This year, nominations will run from now until January 31st 2021, and voting will run from early February until March 15th 2021. Busker Incognito performs this original song derived from British Isles root influences and the heritage of bottleneck slide guitar as learned from artists like Mississippi Delta bluesmen Son House and Muddy Waters. Performed on a triple-cone resophonic guitar and tracked with a single-cone resophonic guitar, both in the open G modal tuning, the song is meant to be a reminder that for some the Christmas and Yuletide season is not about expensive presents and sumptuous feasts..., but rather, it's about day to day survival, sustenance and maybe a bit compassion when and where it can be found.
