Grant applications are being accepted for the COVID-19 Hospitality Industry Recovery Program (CHIRP). It is the intent of CHIRP to provide qualifying businesses (those with NAICS codes of 721 or 722 that provide accommodations, food or drink to the public) with grants to assist in covering the business' lost revenue and associated operating expenses due to COVID-19. For information, and the application, can be found by following the link below. The grant application window closes June 15, but it is expected that funds may be exhausted earlier; if interested, please begin the application process immediately. This is NOT the same as the Borough's previous restaurant grant.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Raise the Region 2021 is happening now. From now until midnight, a number of local non-profit organizations are asking for your help to keep their doors open and their services rolling. We know it's been a tough year for a lot of people, but if you're in a position financially where you're able, we ask that you consider supporting one of these great local causes, so that they in turn can continue to support the Greater Berwick Community!
