Trout season is right around the corner. We are once again hosting our opening day breakfast. Please support our local fire department.

Caution please do not burn outdoors today.

Please use extreme caution if you are burning outdoors today. The vegetation is dry, no rain and we have low humidity, this can cause destructive brush fires.

We are proud to announce the Bessemer Volunteer Fire Department is now equipped with foam. On a prior call we learned that revamping our brush truck with an eductor and having foam on hand could greatly benefit our community and surrounding communities when we are responding to mutal aid calls. Especially when another department needs our brush truck to apply foam. Prior the Bessemer Volunteer Fire Company did not have these items. While we still wait for the delivery of the eductor to be fully functional we are excited to move forward with this upgrade!!
