With heavy heats will share the passing of two beautiful supporters of Bethlehem Haven, Marcia Gruver (former Development Director) and Ceci Sommers (former Board Member). These two women not only supported Bethlehem Haven long after their retirements, they were instrumental in championing for women causes throughout their careers. We were lucky to have them. Marcia and Ceci will be greatly missed. https://www.tributearchive.com//197501/Marcia-Speer-Gruver https://obituaries.post-gazette.com//cecilia-sommers-10815
A great way to give back to the shelter is a Valentine's project. Take the time to make cards by hand or home-made cookies/cupcakes that are made with love. Spending time with your children/family doing creative projects is one of the greatest gives you can do. Contact Amber at [email protected] to donate
Thank you for once again providing gifts for Christmas. Each year Mr. and Mrs. Grysiak provide our shelter residents with backpacks full of essential items, including new blankets.
Shout out to our board member, Dr. Ellen Stewart, for the donation of coats. We can't thank you enough!

It was a special delivery from a team we affectionately call "The Cake Ladies". Theresa's Elves delivered gift bags for all of our onsite residents. Thank you Jayshree and Cathy for delivering the gifts. We also thank Theresa for coordinating this once again.
This year has caused everyone to adjust and become creative in ways they give back. The Extravagant Love Project has once again loved all over the ladies. Thank you so much for the gift bags! Shout out to the CEO, Denise Graves and Assistant Director, Amy Volstad for dropping off the gifts.
We received so many great meals for the holiday last week. Thank you to Joe and Larry York for sponsoring dinner for both buildings. We hear the roast beef was delicious.
We want to send a huge thank you to Sid. He saved up money from tutoring to purchase lunch for the ladies in the Emergency Shelter over the weekend.
